Make a Splash With the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety Program!
We are proud to be a safety-first aquatic facility. American Red Cross (ARC) Learn to Swim curriculum guides our instructors to teach your child how to swim and how to be safe in and around any aquatic environment. Classes are designed to introduce new skills in progression, so each new skill builds on the previous skills learned. The order of progression is based on safety, comfort level in the water, ability to take instruction and motor skill development.
We offer group lessons for ages 6 months to adults - - from beginner to advanced. Participants are tested on the first day of class. If they are enrolled in an inappropriate level, they will be transferred to the correct class, if an opening is available. If you are unsure of which class level to enroll your child, please read the Which class should I register my child? section.
We welcome parents, siblings and guests who wish to watch their children's lessons. However, we ask that you watch from designated areas to enable us to provide safe, quality lessons to your children in an environment free of distractions.

Illness and Accidents:
It is extremely important that all families abide by the following rules and guidelines:
Illness - If your child is not feeling well, do not bring them to lessons.
Swim Diaper - If your child is not potty trained they are REQUIRED to wear a swim diaper. We do sell them at the Member Service Desk for a nominal fee.
Photo Time:
We invite parents on the last day of class to bring their camera and take some photos.
Make-ups:
We realize that schedules change and opportunities arise that may cause you or your child to miss classes. However, Family Wellness does not allow make-ups for missed classes.
Can my child move to a different level?
Water Safety Instructors reserve the right to move a child to another class through an evaluation process. A child will only be moved if there is room within the class. Otherwise, the child may continue in the current level or sign up for the next session of lessons.
