Water Fitness Classes

ClassAt Family Wellness we offer a variety of water group fitness classes that provide a gravity free environment that is easy on the joints, yet provides an excellent overall body workout.

Water fitness is a terrific way to tone and strengthen muscles, develop cardiovascular endurance and increase flexibility. By using the natural resistance of the water, participants receive a great workout that is gentle on the joints.

Arthritis Foundation - Water Works for the Joints: Anyone who has been diagnosed with arthritis or who routinely experience joint pain, stiffness, and/or limited range of motion is invited to attend. It is a low impact and no cardio class. The ability to swim is not required.

Aquafitness: Need help with your aerobic fitness level? This class helps muscular strength and increases your joint mobility. This water exercise class combines a variety of cardio and resistance activities. Great for all abilities.

Aqua Pilates: Enjoy the relaxation of Pilates while increasing your energy level. This class focuses on flexibility, stretching, breathing, balance, and body awareness.

Aqua Tone: Serious resistance! You will participant in short cardio segments and awesome resistance exercise for the entire body. This class will use a variety of equipment (weights, paddles, gloves)

Aqua Walk & Run: Put on the mileage without impact from land. Class intensity will vary and will be held in the shallow water.

Hydro Pump: Shallow water aerobics that includes 20-30 minutes of medium to high intensity aerobics. Work on your flexibility, abs strengthen, and do not forget your heart!

H20 Noodle Workout: This is not a basic water exercise class. Use the noodle for balance, pushing, pulling, floating, and working your body. Class will include 30 minutes of aerobics and 15 minutes warm up, cool down and abdominal stretching.
