Youth Activity Room
Are you the type of parent who worries about your children and their health?
At Family Wellness, your kids will have fun being physically active whether it would be in Active Tikes, Rookie Fitness, or Youth Circuit. We will give your children a wonderful experience to stretch and grow with.
Our Youth Activity Room offers:
- Age-specified activities throughout the day
- Involves games that focus on being active
- Supervised Fitness Activities
- Teaches children team play and sportsmanship
- Open gym when classes are not in session
Children and Youth Class Descriptions:
Active Tikes A 45 minute class for ages 3-5 years, involving games that focus on being active while having fun!
Dodge Ball A 45 minute class for ages 9-12 years old, this class consists of various forms of dodge ball.
Football Buddies This 45 minute class is for Ages 3-5 years that teaches tikes the fundamentals of football through fun and exciting games.
Kickball A 45 minute game of everyone's favorite schoolyard game, Kickball! This is open to Ages 3-5 and 6-8.
Rookie Fitness This is a 45 minute class designed for Ages 6-8 years. This class teaches team play and sportsmanship through a variety of fun fitness activities.
Super "Techno" Kids A 45 minute class geared towards kids Ages 9-12 years old. This class will introduce them to our Techno Gym equipment, allowing them to use equipment independently. Kids will need to complete all 16 pieces of equipment before independent use is granted to them.
Supervised Fitness Activities A 45 minute supervised time for Elementary Aged children to come and stay active.
Youth Circuit A 45 minute youth circuit class for Ages 9-12 years old. This is designed to incorporate strength training and cardio through an interval style workout.
Tiny Tikes This is a 30 minute workout class designed for children 1-2 years of age. This class includes simple games using loco motor skills and stretching.
